About Abbey

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. With two years of experience supporting elementary and middle school learners in Math, English, Science, and History, I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment where we tackle complex concepts by connecting them to your personal interests and real-world examples. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods--whether through visual aids or hands-on practice--to fit your unique style. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are always aligned on your progress. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or online to help you succeed. I truly look forward to being a supportive partner in your educational journey.
