About Abbey

I'd describe my personality as being kind and open to new experiences and learning new viewpoints! I like tutoring because I had a tutor in a few subjects during middle and high school which helped me immensely. I would love to help children have the same good experiences. I'm looking for a job that gives me more experience teaching in order to prepare me for my planned career path. I started tutoring the summer before my freshman year of college in 2019. In my spare time, I like to read, study foreign languages, and paint. My skills include identifying and working with your child's specific needs and learning style, identifying where a topic can be made more interesting and engaging, and being empathetic to a child's thoughts and feeling towards their education!
