About Abbey

I'm a responsible, enthusiastic, and engaging caregiver with a strong background in working with children. I recently completed my junior year of college, where I'm also a Division I women's lacrosse player. My experience includes babysitting children ages 4-7, as well as working as a YMCA camp counselor with children ranging from 4 to 11 years old. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and safety is always my top priority. My time as a counselor taught me how to create structured, fun, and active daily plans that keep children engaged, safe, and happy. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors, staying active, and encouraging kids to explore new interests through games, sports, and creative play. I'm committed to providing a nurturing and energetic environment for every child in my care. While I'll be returning to work at camp starting June 30, I'm currently seeking families who may need care in the meantime - or are looking for a longer-term fit that can complement my summer schedule.
