Hi! I graduated from George Washington University in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences and I come from a background in childcare. I have 2 years of experience working with children aged 0-6 with varied abilities at an established childcare center in my hometown of Lexington, KY. Situated on UK's campus, as a daycare teacher at CDCBG I worked alongside our in-center speech and OTs to ensure our students' development was supported by a team of professionals, loving teachers, and participating guardians. Since graduating, I have worked as a pediatric speech language pathology assistant in Virginia. The children on my caseload were aged 2-9 and sought communication support for apraxia, speech sound disorders, and, mostly, Autism. I'm currently conversational in ASL and working to become fluent. I am now enrolled in OSU's masters program for speech pathology. I'm happy to babysit any age child(ren). Also, I have my own car and CPR certification.

Abby is exceptional. She watched out 2 year old M-F, for several months and I could go on and on about how great she is! Abby is everything you would ever want in a caretaker for your child. She is attentive, patient, intelligent, and kind. She was always coming up with fun activities for home, and field trips to local parks, and stores. She is easy going, adaptable, and her chalk-art is A+! During the time when she watched our son, we noticed that his language really exploded. Abby encouraged him to practice shapes and colors in ways that made it fun. Today, our little guy is off the charts with his knowledge and vocabulary! We attribute a lot of this to the quality time with Abby. She is truly a 10/10!
