About Aarika

My name is Aarika (Erika). When my father was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer, he was given 6 months to live but lived nearly a year and a half. I moved him into my home and became his full-time caregiver while working from home. I became his advocate and companion, helping him navigate healthcare and feel cared for. I've also supported my grandparents through aging. I served on my church's Care Team supporting seniors for 5 yrs. and currently serve at my church in Pinehurst. After 15 yrs in corporate America, I'm looking for meaningful work where I can build genuine relationships. I'm nurturing, personable, joyful, and love seniors and their wisdom. I'd love to provide companionship and support with errands, appointments, meals, games, or conversation. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, fishing, cooking, and family time. I care about the person, not just the job-I want them to feel seen, valued, and never alone. I'd love to hear from you and see if we'd be a good fit!
