About Aaliyah

Nurturing children's growth and development is a true passion of mine, inspired by positive experiences babysitting and a desire to support families. I bring three years of experience caring for children aged newborn to 12 and older, with a college degree in Criminal Justice and training in Early Childhood Education. My approach is patient and friendly, and I always follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and am happy to help with cooking, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am also a Certified Teacher & a substitute for Newport News Public Schools. I communicate with parents through verbal updates and text messages, always prioritizing your preferred method. I don't mind working with parents on the scheduling and adjusting even when needed. I myself have a 13-month-old as well ! I get it and I'm here to help !
