About Aaliyah

I started at home daycares helping my mother with her kids, where she taught me how to make bottles, change diapers and coming up with creative projects for them to do throughout the day. This encouraged me expand my skills and wanting to help more kids. In 2023 I became an assistant teacher at L&L where I was prepared with an amazing lead teacher at that time. I became better at being hands on with students, where we did story time, coloring activities, nature walks allowing them interact with animals, children in the neighborhood and plants. After 2 years, I moved to AMA which was a big change of environment for me. Allowing the students to do their own problem-solving when they work on activities or interact with other students around. I am there to help explain the situation to the student that struggling socially and academically; encouraging them then to use their words and not their hands or have them use sign language that we taught them in class and use it to help me help them
