About Aaliyah

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience and American Tutoring Association certified status, I specialize in helping students from elementary through high school master Math, English, Science, and test preparation. I believe in fostering a love for learning by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting them to your personal interests. By actively listening and adapting my methods--whether through visual aids or hands-on practice--I create a supportive environment where confidence grows. I prioritize clear communication with families to ensure we are always aligned on your academic goals. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult topic finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, a library, or online to help you succeed. I look forward to embarking on this learning journey with you.
