About Aaliyah

Hi! My name is Aaliyah (22), and I'm moving from Chicago to the Kalamazoo area in August 2026 while completing my final year of college remotely, giving me a flexible schedule. I have over three years of experience working in a middle school, supporting newcomer students from Central America and building trusting relationships with children from diverse backgrounds. I also worked as a summer camp counselor for children's ages 4-12, planning crafts, games, outdoor play, and other fun activities. I have reliable transportation and can help with school pick ups, homework, meals, light housekeeping, bedtime routines, and errands. I'm dependable, patient, organized, and an aunt to 10 nieces and nephews, so caring for children has always been a big part of my life.
