About Aaliyah

Hello! My name is Aaliyah and I am looking forward to expanding my experience and learning in the healthcare field in continuing school and going to NAU. Since I was a kid I always took care of my mom and sisters. My mom who suffers from autoimmune diseases and arthritis required me took take on responsibility at at very young age. I helped around the house with many needs such as cleaning, cooking, running errands, transportation to appointments, and much more. Today I currently do the same work and take care of a senior patient with dementia from 9am-12 p.m. I help by updating her whiteboard every morning, making her breakfast, reminders to take her pills with the meals I make for her. I encourage and go with her on her walks. As well as helping her with what she needs around the house such as laundry, ironing shirts, dishes, etc. Currently I am looking for more opportunities and to help anyone who needs a local caregiver with in home health care.
