About Aaliyah

Since I was little, caring for kids has been a true part of who I am. I'm gentle, patient, and so passionate about making every child feel safe, seen, and supported. As a nursing student, I truly feel called to care for people, and I've worked with all ages- including children and adults with special needs, non-verbal autism, and work caring for seniors with dementia. Parents tell me I have a calming, joyful presence that kids warm up to easily, including the shy ones! I keep parents updated how they prefer, and I'm comfortable enforcing house rules in a kind, assertive manner. I love creating fun, developmentally appropriate activities that match each child's age and personality-whether it's moving, imaginative play, simple learning games, or baking and cleaning up together. My child education helps me foster emotional, social, and spiritual growth, not just keep them busy. I've cared for up to 5 children at once, have transport, love pets, BLS certified, and background screened!
