About Aaliyah

Hi! I'm an 18-year-old who grew up as the oldest of six siblings - so I've basically been helping care for kids my whole life. I'm patient, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with children of all ages. I have hands-on experience babysitting kids on the autism spectrum, as well as caring for family friends' children. I've learned how to meet kids where they're at - whether that means following a routine, using calm redirection, finding sensory-friendly activities, or just being a steady, kind presence. I'm currently working toward becoming a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) so I can support kids on the spectrum in a more professional capacity. I bring that same goal-oriented, compassionate mindset to every babysitting job. Safety, structure, and making sure kids feel comfortable and happy are always my top priorities. I'm comfortable with multiple kids at once, meal prep, light housekeeping, and sticking to routines or schedules.
