Northport Nursing Assistants

For as long as I can remember, I have been able to naturally connect with adults and the elderly. Beginning in high school, I started a small group and did outreach/ministry visits to nursing homes and retirement communities. My grandmother lived with my family for several years before she passed, so I have personal experience with that as well. I was a nursing student for 3. 5 years (only one class from graduating with my RN) before stepping down to pursue full time vocational ministry. I enjoy spending time with precious people who need a little patience and assistance with everyday things. I am extremely conservative, so doing/saying/dressing appropriately would not be a concern. I am married to a wonderful man and have one precious baby girl. I would love to see if I could be a helpful weekly addition to your loved one!

I have 20+ years experience as a Registered nurse. I have worked with peds, geriatric patients, children with disabilities, adults with medical and mental health issues. I love engaging people of all ages in activities to the best of their ability. As a case manager I have run group and individual activities ranging from cooking classes, arts and crafts, shopping and budgeting, to leisure time activities of picnics, bowling league, softball and volleyball leagues. I enjoy reading, crafts, baking, cooking, playing games, and movies. I will treat you and your family member as one of my own.
