Hello parents! We have a 2-yr toddler boy that has been under the care of our full-time nanny that he loves for 6 months, and now we are looking for a friend for him to share this precious phase of childhood with! A little about us: ---We live in North Park-University Heights area, both parents currently work from their home offices. We are happy to offer our space for the co-babysitting if you prefer. ---8 hour Mon-Fri starting from 9 or 8:30 if needed. ---Our son is energetic and sweet. He loves music and playing with children. He usually naps for about 3 hours every afternoon. We encourage our nanny Nathalia to speak Portuguese with him and now he understands a lot of it! We like positive parenting philosophy and loosely follow Montessori approach. ---We strictly implement social distancing measures with only Nathalia and another of my son's friends' family in our 'bubble'. --Pay would be 11/h for each child! About our nanny Nathalia: My name is Nathalia, I am 23 years old, married and I live in Point Loma. I am a teacher and a lawyer from Brazil, moved here 8 months ago because my husband and I decided to get married after a long distance relationship! (Giving you some background on me hahaha) As a teacher in Brazil I worked with kids on the spectrum and special needs! Throughout my years of studying, besides current methods in the US, I worked in schools that followed Montessori and Waldorf methodologies! I speak 3 languages, Portuguese (birth language), English and intermediate French. We can work on schedules and set a good routine for the kids, that way their learning curve keeps rising. You can count on me to take excellent care of your kid! Our ideal nanny share: A family with similar conservative approach to the pandemic environment. eg. we do not expect you to do the same but we have not even gone to the supermarket since the onset of the pandemic. Also we would like to work with parents with similar parenting philosophy as us.
