Child Care!
Hi! My name is Annika and I am a passionate, hardworking, life-loving college student who is looking to help families! Growing up, my mother and father were very busy running business in order to support me and my siblings and I am so grateful for the nannies and babysitters that helped take care of us in order to make that possible. I want to be that person for families as well! I vividly remember the impact my babysitters and nannies had on me, and now I want to give back and be that for others! I play tennis at Hope College and am seeking a degree in Business, Kinesiology, and Spanish and went to Grand Rapids Christian High School. I also have advanced Spanish skills! I am very active and love being outside in any way that I can!

Specializes In Seniors With Memory Care
I have 11+ years experience working with Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's. While going to college for Occupational Therapy I obtained a job in a retirement community working in memory care. I became passionate about helping others who are struggling with a horrible disease. Finding that OT would not be the right job to be there for them I decided to live humble and work as a caregiver helping senior directly. I have worked in facilities for 11 years. After the pandemic I have decided to help them stay at home. I have extended training through seminars, classes and training. Most of working with them. My goal is to help your family member be as content and happy as possible.

Our family needs a part-time nanny starting mid to late August. We have two children, a 4-year-old daughter who loves coloring and riding her bike, as well as an 20-month-old son who loves to run around after his sister. Hours are variable and average 25-30 per week. We both work in healthcare, so our schedules can fluctuate slightly, but we are able to give work schedules 2-3 weeks in advance. Typical weeks would be 4 days of work. We do have a dog, so please consider that when applying. We ask that you handle pickups/drop-offs as needed when preschool starts. Giving a hand with the children's laundry would be asked from time to time.
