Hi there! I have been babysitting since I was young. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. I have experience working in a daycare and working with children with autism. I am currently working towards my bachelors degree and would love to work with kids in the mean time. I can happily hang with a baby all day, or get down on the floor and play barbies or dinosaurs. I can adapt well to any family and their specific needs. I grew up with sports and animals, so pets and transportation to sports wouldn't be an issue. Please reach out if you feel we would be a good fit! I would love to get to know you and your kiddos!

Help! My daughter is not starting school this year so we need help watching her for a couple hours during the day. She's almost 6, just needs a buddy to make sure she doesn't burn down the place.
Looking for a caregiver for our nephew, age 5 with autism and his two sisters age, 11 and 13 (not autistic) during our wedding. Hourly rate is negotiable based on prior experience. Babysitting would occur at a house on the site of the wedding reception so parents and grandparents would be nearby. Nephew must be watched at all times. Would like someone who has worked with children on the spectrum. Would like references and to meet prior to the event.

The Michigan Nanny Authority is now interviewing for the following position: A loving family in Plainwell is seeking a Private Educator for a Guaranteed 15-20 hours per week! Parents are looking to hire an experienced, educated, and engaging Private Educator to oversee the virtual education of the family's 15-year-old daughter for the remainder of the first trimester of the 2020/2021 school year. For the duration of the first trimester (through November 24th, 2020), the family will guarantee the Private Educator a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, dependent on what weekly schedule is agreed upon. The daily and weekly schedule is flexible and will be decided between the family and their Private Educator upon hire, and those will be the weekly guaranteed hours. The school district may move to hybrid in-school and virtual learning beyond the first month, so the Private Educator's schedule will need to adjust accordingly if/when that happens. With so many unknowns, the family is asking for a minimum commitment of September through Thanksgiving Break, and preference will be given to candidates who have the availability and flexibility to adjust schedules to stay through the school year. The Private Educator's primary job responsibility each day will be overseeing, encouraging, and supplementing the girl's virtual 10th-grade education through High School. The Private Educator will help with some learning accommodations (helping with technology, supportive math tutoring for Algebra 1, encouraging active breaks), but will not have to plan or execute any curriculum themselves. While a teacher or paraprofessional who has experience in a classroom would be the ideal, any Private Educator with a calm, friendly demeanor, a good sense of humor, and excellent organizational and time management skills will be able to support the student's education and help keep her engaged and on track. The school provides a daily schedule for live and independent learning, and the Private Educator should be prepared with ideas for creating a daily routine and structure for learning around that schedule, create and maintain a productive in-home learning environment, and encourage eager ongoing participation with virtual learning. The family would also appreciate the Private Educator's help in preparing the student for her upcoming written driver's training exam! The Private Educator will also help with daily tasks such as preparing and cleaning up snacks and lunch, keeping the common areas and the learning environment tidy, and overseeing the completion of the girl's daily chores. They will also be encouraged to plan lots of active breaks with walks around their property and visits to their animals, which includes two cats and a dog inside the home, and horses, mini horses, and goats outside!
