As the oldest of four, I began babysitting very early at home and then for friends and neighbors around age 13. I enjoy caring for kids, and the majority of my past jobs have involved children including; swim coach and dance instructor. I believe that safety and educational entertainment are of the utmost importance while caring for a child, and have implemented that into my past experience as a babysitter.

This is an on-call job, meaning that during the set hours you'd be available to come to our house within 10 minutes of being contacted. Once you get here, our soon is sleeping, so it's just a matter of being here until I return from work. Even if you fall back to sleep yourself. Time waiting on call is $2 per hour. ($24 for being ready to respond but not being here, just for being available). You would need to be immediately available during that time. If you're called to come, $30 minimum, even if I'm only gone 30 minutes. Otherwise, its $10 per hour, plus $2 per hour on call. Within walking distance or a few minutes drive is a must. Our son is almost 3 years old and will be sleeping. He doesn't wake up at night.
We are in need of childcare for our 1-year-old son! He's a super happy, well-behaved little dude who loves music, dancing and car rides. He eats well and takes a couple naps a day. My boyfriend was offered a full time day position which has left us needing childcare 2 days a week. Days will be a set two days (aiming for Monday's and Wednesdays) that stay consistent weekly to make it easier for everyone. We'd hope to have someone come to our house where he feels most comfortable and has everything he needs. Hours will be from 1030-6. Even only until 5 on some days. We'd like someone long term and willing to stay with us throughout the school year. During the summers we have family help. If this sounds like something you're interested in, we'd love to set up a trial day.
