Tutor Needed For 3rd Grader -- Math & Reading Confidence Builder

About the job

We're looking for a patient, encouraging tutor to work with our 8-year-old son, a bright and curious 3rd grader who could use extra support in math and reading comprehension. The goal is to help build his confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and make learning fun again. Experience with ADHD or creative learning strategies is a big plus -- we're hoping for someone who understands how to keep lessons engaging and positive. We'd like to start with 1-2 sessions per week at our home in Herndon. Subjects: Math and Reading (with some focus on comprehension and critical thinking) Type: In-person, one-on-one Start date: Flexible -- ideally within the next 1-2 weeks.
