My 7-year-old was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Additionally, he has an August birthday, making him one of the youngest in the class. He struggles with confidence and focus. When he struggles with learning material, he shuts down completely. His grades are lacking because he doesn't have the foundational skills (reading) of a second grader. I'm looking for someone patient and kind but willing to give him the push he needs to boost his confidence and show him that he can do the work if he puts his mind to it!
