Hello! We are a family of 5 in the Lansdowne area looking for a Spanish tutor that can pick up and drop off our 7th and 4th grade children from school each afternoon while also providing conversational Spanish lessons during their transport trip. We like to use time as wisely as possible and find that paying for transport coupled with a tutoring fee would be most ideal. Transport would begin from the school in the North East section of the city and end in the Lansdowne Pa area of Delaware County Pa. Although the trip is likely to be less than an hour, we feel that bundling tutoring days and transport days within hour windows will keep payment more organized and also permit "exceptions" in terms of time management when road accidents, traffic jams and other events need to be considered. Transport and tutoring should be completed within a one hour window - ideally 2:30 to 3:30, Monday through Friday with tutoring days being Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. When school is out for 1 to 2 days for teacher in-service, other scheduled events or 1 day holidays; you will be paid for those days for canceled transportation costs only. You will also be paid for days when both children are out sick from school together for up to two days maximum. You will not be paid for pre-scheduled week to two week family vacations or extended school breaks for Winter( approx 2 weeks), Spring (approx 1 week) and Summer (approx 12 weeks). During said school breaks, tutoring may still continue virtually if your schedule permits. You must be insured with a clean driving record. You should also have child background clearances readily available to share. Any references would be great, but not required. Working with children for at least a year is most ideal.
