Reading & Math Tutor For 6-Year-Old

We’re looking for a patient, creative tutor to help our 6-year-old son build confidence in early reading and math as he enters first grade. Lessons should be fun and engaging, using games, books, and activities. Responsibilities include supporting phonics, sight words, and comprehension, plus basic math (counting, addition, subtraction). Ideal candidates have experience with young children (K–2 teaching, tutoring, or early education). Sessions: 2–3 times per week, 30–45 minutes each, at our home or a public place like the library. Pay: $15–$20/hr depending on experience. Please reply with your background, approach to teaching young learners, and availability. References appreciated.
