We are looking for a patient, engaging tutor to introduce our 5-year-old son to chess and help him build basic skills and confidence in the game. • When: Once a week on Thursdays, 5:00–6:00 p.m. (starting soon, through December). • Location: Our home in downtown Manhattan (or nearby, open to discuss). • Duties: -Teach the rules of chess in a clear and fun way. -Practice beginner-friendly strategies and tactics -Encourage a love for the game and develop problem-solving skills - Keep lessons interactive and age-appropriate We hope to find someone who enjoys working with young children, has experience teaching chess (especially to beginners), and can make the lessons fun and engaging.
