Charlotte family needs a part-time tutor for Math. Seeking an experienced and engaging math tutor to work with three students in the 4th and 5th grades 1-2x per week for 45-60 minutes per session. The ideal candidate would have some teaching experience and be willing to provide both homework support (i. e. helping students understand and complete current math assignments, prepare for tests, and reinforce classroom learning) while also providing enrichment such a problem solving or math games to deepen understanding. We live in the North Charlotte area but we'd be happy to meet at a local public library or even accommodate some virtual options. Competitive pay based on experience.
