In Home Para Educator

About the job

New Brighton family needs a part-time in-home para educator for Special Education, History, Study Skills, English, Math, Science. Our son is autistic and highly anxious, resulting in him being largely homebound. He is a delightful young person who enjoys sports and video games, and cares a lot about other people. He is high functioning autistic but needs a lot of support and reminders/assistance with routines and completing tasks. You would supervise the completion of work provided by the school. Trust building is difficult for our son and any candidate has to be committed to meeting him where he is at in each moment. Bonus point if you are familiar with the PDA profile of autism.
