My son has severe ADHD and school has been hard for him. Last year was his best year. He does not adhere well to impatience. If you are not able to make it fun for him or unable to be mentally stable with him then this is not for you. Im sorry if I come off rude, however I have lost faith in the school system. I am disappointed that my son lost over 2 grade levels in reading last summer. Though I know educators do not have it easy they have created a traumatic experience for my son. I am NOT the type of parent that makes excuses for him. His faults are his own. I do, however, know that he has PTSD around school. I have watched educators verbally abuse him and though I filed grievances they went completely unheard. Please know we are not well off and we do take a week or two off in the summer.
