I’m looking to hire a homeschool tutor for my 8-year-old son who currently learns at a 3rd-grade level but works on advanced material. We’re looking for someone who can teach math, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, geography, and science in an engaging, hands-on way. The ideal tutor will help build structure, keep lessons fun and challenging, and occasionally include creative or themed activities. Sessions will run 3–4 hours per day, 4 days a week, starting around 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. I’m looking for someone patient, organized, and enthusiastic about education. someone who can help assess his math level, reinforce foundational skills (like subtraction with borrowing, time duration, and division), and make learning exciting and consistent. l
