About the job

Hello! We are looking for an IN PERSON tutor or homeschool teacher for our 12 yo son ( rising 7th grade) who has high functioning Autism and PDA ( Pathological Demand Avoidance, a profile of the autism spectrum). He needs someone who is patient, flexible and trustworthy and is willing to allow him to work at his own pace. We would love someone who has experience with special education, but the qualities above are the most important piece because he MUST trust and respect anyone that he is working with or learning from. Subjects we would prefer to focus on are English, Math and Science but also want to allow flexibility for him to pursue his own interests, which are technology and STEM related.
