Responsibilities: • Provide individualized tutoring sessions focused on literacy, comprehension, and basic math. • Use multisensory teaching methods to enhance understanding and retention. • Assist with homework, organization, and study habits. • Foster a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, patience, and consistency. • Orton-Gillingham training or certification preferred (experience with structured literacy or dyslexia-informed instruction is highly valued). • Background in special education, or child development preferred. • Ability to adapt lessons to the student's learning style and pace. Familiarity with supporting children with attention, processing, or executive functioning challenges is preferred.
