6-year-old daughter is on the spectrum and developing her ability to regulate emotions when frustrated. She's very friendly/outgoing. Loves nature, makeup, music, dancing, minions. She needs supervision and coaching to stay on task. Is able to perform personal self care with reminders. Will need help planning structured learning activities during the summer as well as brain breaks such as outdoor play, arts and crafts, library and park visits (otherwise she will gravitate towards screens such as TV and iPad). Will also need help with snack and lunch setup (will be premade). Looking for a tutor/nanny who: -Has a great sense of humor and other techniques to help with emotional regulation -Is able to help with subjects (math, writing, reading, and science). Workbooks will be provided in home but we're open to ideas! -Is able to "switch things up" to keep our daughter engaged in a task -Is patient + calm under stress -Avoids consequence statements such as "if you don't do this, then___" but is able to set expectations/goals and then help her meet them -Communicates when any issues arise Good parking available We have a Goldendoodle (2. 5 years old). Has a loud bark and energetic at first then warms up and calms down around new people quickly. Loves rubs.
