Location: Ashburn, VA (in-person preferred; hybrid considered). Schedule: 2-3 sessions per week, afternoons or weekends. We are seeking a warm, creative tutor for Gigi, a joyful kindergartener who loves unicorns, mermaids, and art. The tutor will deliver structured lessons aligned with Virginia standards, focusing on math and literacy, while blending academics with play. All learning materials must be provided by the tutor (curriculum, worksheets, manipulatives, enrichment activities). Responsibilities include fostering independence, confidence, and creativity, tracking progress with visual planners, and offering weekly feedback. Qualifications: experience with PreK-1st grade learners, familiarity with Virginia standards, strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability. Background in education or child development preferred.
