We are seeking a patient, engaging tutor to work one-on-one with a 6th-grade student to build strong study habits, organizational skills, and handwriting proficiency. The ideal candidate will help the student gain confidence in managing schoolwork, preparing for tests, and developing effective study routines. Responsibilities: Provide individualized support in: 1. Study and organizational skills (note-taking, planner use, time management). 2. Preparing for tests, projects, and daily assignments. 3. Improving handwriting legibility, speed, and written expression. 4. Reinforce classroom learning and build academic confidence. 5. Help the student set short- and long-term academic goals. 6. Communicate progress and strategies to parents on a regular basis. 7. Adjust lesson plans and strategies based on student's needs.
