Forked River family needs a part-time tutor for English/Math/Science, for curious, engineering minded 9-year-old boy, who transitioned from private to home school. Seeking creative teacher who can reignite a passion for learning and help close up gaps, he was ahead entering a competitive entry school that changed their curriculum with negative effects. Strong focus on spelling/phonics/writing needed. Creative out of the box teacher, hands on, who is willing to oversee an online program and supplement learning. Montessori approach. Willingness to do science experiments and take creative breaks, 2-3 days per week, 2 hours per day, in my home or at local library. Must be non-smoker, certified teacher, prefer advanced degree, Spanish or Mandarin speaking A+. Can be flexible with days and times but a set schedule is preferred for stability.
