Looking for a Patient Reading Tutor for My 6-Year-Old (1st Grade) I’m looking for a compassionate, patient tutor to work with my 6-year-old son. He is in 1st grade and is really struggling with reading, letter sounds, and pronouncing words. He excels in math, but needs extra support building confidence and skills in reading and early literacy. What I’m Looking For: • Experience working with young children (1st–2nd grade preferred) • Strong background in early reading, phonics, and literacy development • Someone patient, encouraging, and able to make learning fun • Ability to create simple, engaging lessons based on his skill level • Consistency and good communication Schedule: Flexible — open to discussing afternoons, early evenings, or weekends.
