Classroom Support Aide (Part-Time)

We are seeking a patient, attentive, and engaging classroom aide to provide one-on-one support to a 7-year-old student with ADHD. The aide will assist the student in maintaining focus, completing classwork, and preparing for weekly tests. Responsibilities: • Provide direct support to the student during classroom instruction and testing periods. • Help maintain attention, focus, and task completion. • Offer gentle reminders and redirection as needed to keep the student engaged. • Assist with weekly Bible and Spelling tests (typically on Fridays). • Communicate progress or areas of concern to the parent as needed. • Encourage confidence, positive behavior, and a calm learning environment. Schedule: • 2 days per week • Approximately 1-2 hours per day Qualifications: • Experience working with children, especially those with ADHD
