Homework & Study Habits Tutor (Grades 4 & 7)

About the job

We are looking for a patient, reliable, and engaging tutor to work with our two children (ages 9 and 12) on a consistent weekly basis. The role will focus on helping them with daily schoolwork, improving their skills in reading and math, and developing strong study habits that will serve them long-term. Responsibilities • Provide 1-on-1 academic support (1 hour with each child, back-to-back). • Assist with school assignments, reading practice, math skills, and general study skills. • Teach and reinforce organization, time management, and effective learning habits. • Communicate progress and challenges with parents. • Create a supportive, encouraging, and positive learning environment.
