We live in Chicago, near Belmont & Harlem, and are hoping to find support 2-3 days per week. We're flexible on specific days/times and can start as soon as you have availability. A little about our son: He is in 2nd grade. He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. His most recent WIAT-IV results show significant reading challenges, including: • Word Reading: Standard Score 67 (1st percentile) • Basic Reading Composite: SS 81 (10th percentile) • Dyslexia Index: SS 76 (5th percentile) He struggles with decoding, sight word recognition, attention regulation, and reading stamina. We are looking for a tutor experienced in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Barton, etc.) or someone comfortable working with early readers with ADHD and dyslexia. A patient, engaging approach is essential for him.
