My name is Anna and I am a former teacher that now runs Connections Academics here in Chicago. Families come to us to be matched with a tutor (primarily licensed teachers or graduate-level educators). Tutors are matched with a family needing in-home support. We have a team of teachers that all work together to support each other and provide resources, as well. Tutors are asked to plan their own sessions depending on the student's individual needs and interests. Pay is dependent on years of experience, background, education and more. Tutors can work anywhere from 1-10 hours per week.
