About the job
Stone Mountain family needs a tutor for an Autistic 8 year child with ADHD, minimally verbal for all subjects to include English, Math. Main subject would be math and would align with his IEP goals. Person must have a degree and be trained to teach a person with autism. Teaching would include play based. He learns best through repetition, sing song, rhythmic ways. Math skills should be able to be taught in a play based way while making it functional. He also has an AAC device and would like the tutor to be able to model utilizing his device.
