Part-Time Communication & Academic Tutor (Special Needs Focus)

Overview: Seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Tutor for two students (ages 10 & 17) with special needs. This is a unique opportunity to gain specialized experience in advanced communication and academic methods. We value attitude and teachability over prior experience--full training provided! The Role (Dedicated One-on-One): You will provide focused, one-on-one sessions for each student. Literacy: Reading aloud and working on reading comprehension. Communication: Coaching use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices (tablets) for non-verbal expression. Advanced Academics: Facilitating focused, structured literacy and academic activities designed for high school level. Hours: Flexible 4-15 hours/week.
