I am looking for a tutor for my sophomore son who is taking Honors Pre-Calc (he thrived last year with a math tutor, but the tutor is not available this school year). We live in the Brentwood neighborhood of SSF (near San Bruno). I am also considering a tutor who can help with study skills and organization beyond math this year, which would be new for my son. This could be a second tutor, or ideally the same person who tutors calculus. As for timing, we are flexible but our first pick would be early Sunday afternoon. Sundays are best because he normally has Sunday off from crew. Second best would be Saturday afternoon. Third best would be 7:30-9:30 p.m. after school/crew. Fourth best would be another week day after school (and he would miss a practice). My post suggests a 2. 5 hour session but, breaking into 2 sessions a week could work.
