In-Person Tutor Needed For 3rd Grader (Math, Reading, Writing & Homework Help)

About the job

We are seeking a patient, engaging in-person tutor to work with our third-grade student at our home. The student has ADHD and autism and needs support catching up to grade level in math, reading, and writing, along with consistent homework help and reinforcement of school lessons. Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30-6:00 p.m. The student learns best through hands-on, interactive instruction, so the tutor should use engaging methods such as games, visuals, and guided practice while building confidence. Qualifications include experience working with elementary students (3rd grade preferred), a strong understanding of the 3rd-grade curriculum, and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
