About the job
We are seeking a patient, engaging in-person tutor to work with our third grader student at our home. The student needs support catching up to grade level in math, reading, and writing, with consistent homework help and reinforcement of school lessons. Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30–6:00 p.m. The student learns best through hands-on, interactive instruction, so the tutor should use engaging methods such as games, visuals, and guided practice while building confidence. Qualifications: Experience working with elementary students (3rd grade preferred), strong understanding of 3rd grade curriculum, and ability to explain concepts clearly.
