I have a third grader that struggles with math. He gets frustrated when we try to work with him. He struggles with memorizing multiplication and understanding word problems. We think we could use some outside help. He is a fun kid, nice, and excels at art and writing. He has two older brothers that are math whizzes, so there might be a little sensitivity there, too. We live in Chico. He goes to school weekdays until 2:30 and has piano lessons Monday afternoon, otherwise he is free. We would be happy to host you or meet somewhere. I was thinking 30 minutes twice a week or an hour once a week would be a good starting point. My ideal tutor would have experience tutoring grade schoolers with math and have a supportive attitude for kids. Thanks for your interest!
