Two cockatiels, one male, one female who have bonded. The female cannot fly and loves to be held and stroked. The male dominates the female. Sometimes he will poke her and she is turned upside down. She cannot right herself. Could not finger train the male as he doesn't like to be touched. The birds are out of their cages all day. When the male wants to go to his cage around 5:00 p.m. he will start chirping. We put the female in her cage and the male steps up onto a bird ladder and he hops off into the cage. They get up at 8:00 a.m. Scooter, male and Pepper are their names.
