Just moved, my 5-year-old shihtzu westie mix is sweet but very scared and hates being left alone. She has had dogs come after her while out on walks which has worsened her fear. She lives attention and going for walks as long as she knows her walker will keep her safe. Hoping to eventually find a few people who can walk her on different days, in the middle of the day, when I'm at work. For now just starting with a one time job.
