We have 2 English Springer Spaniels (age 5 and 2 both female), and two rescue cats (Age 9 and 5 both male). We recently adopted a stray (11 months male). We've never had adverse reactions to new animals coming to the house. Friends have brought their cats, dogs, and other critters, and there has never been any negative reaction. We've had difficulties (and conflicts) acclimatizing the new cat with the other 2 cats. New cat has gotten along with the dogs from day 1 without issue. But as soon as the new cat sees the other 2, it results in a fight where the 5-year-old cat ends up peeing himself in defense. All cats are neutered, dogs are spayed. All 3 cats are very affectionate with the exception of the conflict. Need help in establishing a process to integrate the new cat with the other 2.
