I have two cats, Limmy (9, Domestic Shorthair) and Bear (10, Russian Grey/Blue). They are rescues, so they are rather anxious boys around new people, but are not aggressive and should at worst just hide from you. They are in good health, so the only real care-giving they need is check-ins with food/water/litter replacement once daily. Ideally, some play time to get their energy out would be great, as well as feeding them their daily soft food/snack (which they know as "snacks's?"/"snaxis?"), which I usually do between 4 - 5 p.m. Bear does have a history of vomiting from nervous licking, and even pooping just outside of the litter box if he's worried (this has only happened once, but it was the last time I was gone for more than 4 days), so that may be something you encounter, but it is unlikely.
