About the job

I adopted Roxie from the Durham Animal Shelter in August during the "Clear the Shelters" program. I wanted an older female, but all that was available was a 5-year-old female, but she had bonded with a 1-year-old male, and I couldn't take both. So, I ended up with 2-month-old terrier/beagle mix Roxie. I am a senior, and it's become more than I can handle with Roxie's instinct to pull . I have a serious back problem, and trying to walk her has become a chore, rather than a pleasure.
