I have two dogs. One small white Bishon Freise Huck who is aging and has a chronic cough but still loves to walk. The second is a 6 yr old English Cocker Spaniel Hercules who is very friendly and super high energy. He can sometimes get spooked at the beginning of a walk and will want to return home. This is most easily avoided if there is no hesitation between the time you put on his leash and head down the block. Once on your way he enjoys the experience. Hercules passion is playing ball with his red bouncy ball two or three times a day. Thankfully my new apartment has a dog park just behind my unit.
