Explore the diverse flora and fauna that call this unique desert ecosystem home and learn about some geology, as well. Guided by a certified California Naturalist who will lead you on a journey through the desert, pointing out interesting plants, animals, and geological formations along the way. Get ready to be amazed by the natural beauty of Joshua Tree! The hike is around 2 miles round trip. While most of the hike is flat, be prepared to hike sandy, gravelly, and lightly hilly terrain. Midweek tours often only have one group/family so you may get a private tour! Please note: All attendees must sign a liability release form in order to attend.
